One of the most common questions I get is “But Jeremy, don’t you every feel like you’ve given up so much to lose weight? Is it really worth it?”
And while the easy answer would be “Yes, yes it is…” the truer answer is that I’ve not really given anything up, I simply pressed pause on a lot of things I didn’t know I didn’t really want.
It’s like when you’re trying to get out of debt. You don’t stop spending money, you simply press pause on spending money on things you don’t really need. But then what happens after you get out of debt? Well, quite often you look at the things that got you into debt in a different light.
So it the way with weight loss.
What does this have to do with a silo cup?
Quite often, the foods we love have little to no nutritional value. And while we love them, we don’t need them becasue they do so little for our bodies.
If I want it, I have it. But, it’s gotta fit in this cup.
Cheesecake, M&M’s, Ice Cream, Honey Roasted Peanuts….whatever!
But its gotta fit in this cup.
At the end of the day you realize there’s way more freedom and prosperity when you love yourself enough to give yourself guidelines.
That’s how I find the balance in my life…how about you?
