Well here we are, 2011. Normally this is a good time to reflect on what has occurred in the year past and while I wont go into a lot of rambling, there are two things that occured last year that I feel are fairly big accomplishments.
1) The Gospel According to Chubby was actually published.
2) I received a letter from Michelle and Barack Obama recognizing and encouraging my efforts towards our countries fight against obesity.
While there are many other great things that happened in 2010, I feel those listed above are things that don’t happen everyday. So…yay!
Now, what is next for 2011? I am glad you asked. First off, the audio book is finally recorded! It’s being mastered/packaged/shipped as we speak and will be available to hold and love in the next few weeks. While we wait, the pre-sale will start next week.
What does a Jeremy Rochford audio book sound like? It’s part NPR, part Prairie Home Companion and part Adventures in Odyssey…or…you can just listen for yourself.
Second. My good friend Mike from Big Daddy Weave was kind enough to lend his talents to the audio foreword for this project.
Third. It will be available as a 4 disc audio cd set that you can just put in your car and go or as an Mp3 data disc that you can load right into your computer and put onto your portable media device.
Fourth. Mike (Weaver) and I will be on Living With Joy Radio with Phil Waldrep next Monday (1/10/2011) and Tuesday (1/11/2011). Please check the link to see where you can tune in. Living With Joy is carried on over 1000 radio stations nationwide but if you still can’t find a local station, you can tune into the PODcast.
